FAQ
Do I need to pay for an AI provider?
Kriti AI is free. Cloud providers charge for their API usage, usually per token or per image, and you pay them directly. To avoid provider costs, run a model locally with Ollama or Local AI, or try everything first with the Mock provider.
Is anything published automatically?
No. Every result is a draft until you publish it. See Reviewing and publishing.
Can I use more than one provider?
Yes. Set up as many as you like and choose one per generation in AI Studio, or set a default per content type in Settings.
Does it work with WooCommerce?
Yes. Articles can be published as Products, and prompts can use {{product_name}}, {{product_price}} and {{product_sku}}.
Problems
Test connection fails
- Check that you pasted the whole key, with no spaces.
- Make sure billing is set up with the provider. Many providers reject requests from accounts without credit.
- For Ollama and Local AI, make sure the server is running and reachable from your WordPress server, not just from your browser.
- Some hosts block outgoing connections. Ask your host to allow HTTPS requests to your provider.
The output is cut off
The response hit Max Tokens. Raise it in AI Studio (or its default in Settings), or ask for a shorter piece.
