Overview

What Kriti AI does

Kriti AI brings AI generation into your WordPress dashboard. Write a prompt and Kriti AI creates articles, images, audio and video with the AI provider you choose, using your own API key.

Everything Kriti AI generates is saved as a draft. Nothing appears on your site until you review it and publish it yourself.

  • Bring your own provider: OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, DeepSeek, Groq, OpenRouter, Stability AI, Replicate, ElevenLabs, or a model running on your own server (Ollama or Local AI).
  • Reusable prompts with variables such as {{site_name}} and {{product_name}}.
  • Background queue: long jobs such as video keep running while you work on something else.
  • Metrics: requests, success rate, token usage and estimated cost per provider.

Requirements

  • WordPress 5.8 or later
  • PHP 7.4 or later
  • WP-Cron enabled (the WordPress default), or a real cron job that calls wp-cron.php. See Queue and WP-Cron.
  • An account and API key with at least one AI provider. You can try everything first with the built-in Mock provider, which needs no key.

Only administrators (users with the manage_options capability) can use Kriti AI.

Install Kriti AI

Install the free plugin

  1. In WordPress, go to Plugins → Add New and search for Kriti AI.
  2. Click Install Now, then Activate.
  3. A new Kriti AI menu appears in the admin sidebar.

To install manually, upload the kriti-ai folder to /wp-content/plugins/ and activate it on the Plugins screen.

Your first generation in 5 minutes

  1. Connect a provider. Open Kriti AI → Integrations Hub, paste an API key for any text provider, click Test connection, then Save Settings. No key yet? Skip this step: the Mock provider is used automatically.
  2. Write a prompt. Open Kriti AI → AI Studio, choose Article and describe what you want, for example: A 600-word beginner's guide to composting for apartment dwellers, friendly tone, with a short FAQ.
  3. Generate. Click Generate Content. The job starts in the background.
  4. Watch it. Open Kriti AI → Queue. When the status is Completed, the result column links to the new draft.
  5. Review and publish. Open the draft in the Content Library, edit it, choose where it should go and publish. See Reviewing and publishing.
